In 2001, Clive Day, Rick Lomas, Susan Lomas and Maria Limbrick moved from Hertfordshire, England to Serre Chevalier in the French Alps.

Although Clive and Rick fully intended to rebuild the famous rock and pop covers band, "The Harper Brothers", there had to be a back up plan in case they couldn't find a drummer or a guitarist. It was Sue's idea that popped into her head as the four of us had a pre-exodus meeting in 'The Crown' pub in Berkhamsted back in 2001. 2 girls, 2 boys? It had to be done. Almost ABBA was born.

Time was short so we made some CD backing tracks and started rehearsing straightaway.

After a successful 2001/2002 ski season in Serre Chevalier, the band got together again in the south of France to play again. We then moved to the Costa Brava in Spain to play at Palafrugall and L'Estartit.

Now the band has a residency at La Grotte, Serre Chevalier 1400, during the winter season.
